Long-tailed Tit

Took me a while to identify as the most common species of Long-Tailed Tit look quite different (white faces).

This seems to be the A. c. europaeus from the europaeus group (which contains like 9 subspecies??) and is common to western Europe.

Which seems to be found in these locations normally. (I have no idea why there is one pixel in the urals)

Merlin has been identifying the call of this species for a few days, but this was the first one I have positively identified. Yippee!

Common Chiffchaff

These are very common in the area, you can hear them all the time.

Together

Busy week, and no much time for birding (alexander, please, if you will)
